UNIVERSAL SORBENTS
No more guessing which sorbent to use for a spill. CCP Universal Sorbents absorb both water and oil-based liquids. Designed to absorb coolants, cutting fluids, lubricants, and cleaning fluids. CCP Sorbents absorb up to 25 times their weight. The multi-layered dimple design makes these products strong and low in lint. The grey color of universal sorbents distinguishes them from their oil-only counterparts which are traditionally white. OIL SPECIFIC SORBENTS
When you need to control or clean up oil-based leaks and spills, CCP's Oil Sorbents are what you need. Our sorbents absorb up to 25 times their weight in petroleum-based products. Oil specific sorbents will not absorb water and will float to absorb oils on lakes, rivers or other large bodies of water. Unlike kitty litter, Oil Sorbents are dustless which benefit workers' health and machine maintenance. CCP Sorbents are available in pads, rolls, socks, booms, sweeps and pillows. Oil only sorbents absorb an array of oils, petrochemicals, petroleum-based solvents and other non-water soluable chemicals. Melt Blown Products:
Melt blown sorbents are one-ply oil specific pads and rolls.They are the most economical product to pickup grease and oil and are constructed from a single layer of strong uniform polypropylene fibers. Traditional loose stacked-weave construction increases surface area on spill. Our melt blown products start absorbing on contact, saving time in critical situations. Its bright white color makes it easy to see when it is completely saturated. Will not mildew. Sonic Bonded Products:
Sonic bonded sorbents are constructed from a single layer of high quality uniform polypropylene fibers. The fibers are then sonically bonded together for additional strength which helps reduce linting. Great for overspray areas & indoor spills, strong weld points - keeps intact. Laminated Products:
Laminated sorbents are constructed by ultrasonically bonding outer layers of durable polypropylene spun bond to a high loft melt blown center. They are non-linting and are the most durable of our product lines. Extreme softness and drape abilility are key features of these sorbents. Fine Fiber Products:
Fine fiber sorbents are constructed of fine fibers that are ultrasonically welded over a high lift melt blown core. Top and bottom layers are built of densely woven small diameter strands of fiber to increase surface area-enabling mat to grip the floor and secure it for walking on.
